How to start Fundraising for your Non-Profit on Girls with Goals?
Open a G-store by following the store building steps. Apply for a paypal account. Figure out what items you would like to sell for your fundraising opportunity. Will it be items that you receive from sponsors or donations, items that you purchase and resell, items that you or community members create etc.? Start listing your items on in your G-store. Your Non Profit may fundraise at any time on Girls with Goals.
What are there fees for non-profit organizations?
All approved Non-profits may be granted a discounted G-store percentage rate. Girls with Goals believes in supporting approved non-profits in their cause to help others. You must contact our Team with the 501c3#, display the 501c3 # in your G-store, verify your non-profit address and contact information.
Do the same selling rules apply to non-profits as do regular G-store members?
Yes. All terms and conditions are the same.
What if our organization doesn't have a credit or banking information?
If your non-profit organization doesn't have the required information, we suggest that you check with your local bank to set this up. Many banks now offer check cards that have a credit card logo on them, which you can use like a credit card, except that the money is withdrawn from your checking account.
Can my G-store benefit multiple charities?
Yes, more than one charity can receive funds from your G-store. If you are donating to multiple charities, make sure that you are very clear in how each item benefits which charity.
Is there a G-store category for charity items?
There is no specific category for items listed for non-profit fundraising purposes. List your items in the relevant categories on the Girls with Goals site. You may put “charity” in your listing description and in your G-store. |
